Texas Tigress,

I agree with the others that recommend that you take a MSN course. However if you check with your local "Goldwing Chapter" it is more than likely that they will have "Parking lot Practice" once a month. It is open to any and all motorcyclists. In my experience there is usually Goldwing certified instructor(s) to coach you with different techniques for negotiating the numerous maneuvours that thet set up. My wife and I go from time to time and the knowledge and skill that we have gained is incredible. I went into it thinking that I've been riding for 30 years, and what are these people going to teach me that I don't already know. Well I learned volumes! And when we finally went to the MSN course, we went into it as skilled riders. Really impressed the instructors!

Check it out!

Bananas!

The fact that I did not complete the course (I have ridden for almost 40 years) pre-empts any possibility of taking the advanced course, my real interest. Oh well.
Go for the nearest Total Control Advanced Riding Course. Might actually be worth the money, even if it doesn't help you out on insurance premiums. That's my plan, November in AZ!
