Went to the lake today with the Wife and boat instead of riding the bike... After the day on the water we loaded up the boat and headed for the house. When we were getting ready to pull out onto the highway (RT. 30), I noticed a silver FJR go by. I caught him at the next light but just as got up to him the light changed and he was off. I'm pulling 21ft. of pontoon boat and I have to hurry to the next light but again he turns right as I get to the light. Another light and he turns left..yes, yes, you got it by now...just as I get to the light it turns green and he's off again. This left turn keeps him on highway 30, but it has changed to a double highway now...So I kick the old Ford in the ass and we get up along side and I hang my FJR 1300 hat out the window....He sees it, gives me the thumbs up and dissapears into the corners going up Dayton Mountain. This FJR had a Missouri plate on it. Heading west on Hwy 30 would take him over the mountain, (nice turns going over the other side of the mountain), and into Pikeville and probably on by Fall Creek Falls. Also some nice turns heading out of Pikeville. Probably on his way home. Good luck and drive safe.

Hey, wait a minute, isn’t there some kind of toll assessed on out-of-state feejers that exploit that road?

:bike:

Also hope the rider has a safe trip, and enjoyed our nice weather today.

Must be a day for feejers in TN. My son and I road to Lynchburg today to visit a friend, me in the FJR and he on the R1150R. After Lynchburg we rode some backroads for a while and ended up near Manchester. We hopped on I-24, and my son got way ahead of me in traffic. I'm cruising at about 90 mph (don't tell the wife, please), and another FJR road up next to me. It was maroon-red. We road together for a while before I left the interstate to ride backroads up Monteagle mountain and towards home. His was the first other Feejer I've seen since getting mine two weeks ago.

TerryG and I were out and about this morning too. Woodbury being launch point. I really didn’t see that many other riders, no FJR's, out today. But, then again, we were on some fairly rural roads.

OTOH, yesterday, I saw gobs of bikes on the local roads.
