Saw two FJR's on I-75 recently. One was an '04 that I caught up to on my '05. The other was an '03 that I saw while going to work in the cage. I never saw a single one in two years riding in Connecticut and I see two here in three days. Gotta love Ohio!

I have an '05 and live across the river. My buddy has an '04 and also lives on the Ky side. They're a few of them around the tri state area.

I also have an '05 and live in Maineville, close to King's Island. I see someone else with an '05 on my daily commute to West Chester. Looks like there may be enough of us around the area to put together a ride sometime.

I have an 05 and it wasn't me. I'm in Georgetown, Ky

I passed an 05 on SR 22 heading east from Falmouth about a month ago.... Anyone here?

I wear a bright yellow helmet, ocassionaly with a blue mohawk attached. Can't miss me.

Hi Guys. I'm in Newtown, and my business is in West Chester. I've got an '05 in the ever quick Galaxy Blue with ABS and a variety of added farkles. Was previously on the other board and now registered here. Have probably seen a couple of you, and I'm guessing Splash in particular. Where did guys get your rides? I bought out of Dayton, at Southside Yamaha/Suzuki, and had a fantastic experience there. Bike was delivered in may this year.

I bought mine in July '04 at D&H in Alabama. Great people and unbeatable prices.

$10,999 for my ABS model. I just placed an order there for a "Scooter" model {AE} last week. BTW, I'm in Ft. Thomas.

I've got an 04 in Alexandria on the KY side of the city. If you guys are looking for a ride, route 10 from Alexandria to Maysville is some good 50 miles of twisties. :D

I've got an 03. I'm almost downtown on the west side. I'll second the recommendation for rt 10. I also like to follow the river out to Rabbit Hash and ride by all of the posers, I mean cruiser riders, who make that their destination. Not as tight as rt 10, but its a nice little loop when you don't have all day.

If you want to see lots of FJRs in Ohio - go to the Ohio Spring Ramble - if mcarp/yamaholic is putting it on!
When does this normally take place?

I was going to go on the fall ramble, but a deer strike and a hockey game got in the way.

I got mine from Max Pitts Yam/Suz/Hon/Kaw in Peru,IN. Searched Trader Online and that was the closest dealer that had one in stock, picked it up the day after Thanksgiving '04 and loved every minute in the saddle since. Hands down the best bike I have ever owned.

I'm in Centerville (south 'burb of Dayton) I bought my last two new bikes at Southside, but bought the FJR used off ebay. I like them for sales, but their service dept blows!! Maybe in the spring we can all have a little get-together. Hell, maybe we'll have a decent weekend during the winter and do it then. Here's hopin'...cause the ****** weather's a comin'!

Lot's of Effy's around Cincy. I'm usually on mine if the weather cooperates on Fridays getting to work up in Clifton (eastside and 471) or romping around Nky on the weekends.

Two Wheel Tuesday for the Local Riders group is at Greenies in Milford and there's 4 or so Fj's that haunt that place during riding season.

Oh, I was one of the "posers" on my cruiser down at Rabbit Hash this weekend. Only one Connie defending the ST crowd the couple hours I was hangin out. :p

Looks like we've got plenty of guys for atleast an evening meet and greet.....

I wasn't impressed with Southside. I purchased my '05 at Joe's Cycle, also in Dayton. This is a small old time (over 40 years) friendly Mom and Pop operation that only sells Yamaha and Triumph. Got a decent price without haggling. The service dept (two brothers) appeared very bike savvy when I visited for an inspection of the workshop (my bike has not needed any work so I cannot offer any opinion on competence).

I've tried the service depts at Southside, Joe's, and Competition Accessories and left all of them pissed off. Haven't tried Hon/Kaw/Yam of Middletown yet, but they have an unusual scheduling policy. They don't take appts! You drop off your bike and leave it until your number comes up, however long that may take! Not real crazy about that either. I've been hearing good things about Clinton County Yamaha, so I might give them a try when the time comes. I ONLY go to the dealer for warranty repairs and not all of those. Sometimes I just opt to fix it myself if the parts are cheap. I do all my own maintenance. Everytime I let the dealers work on my bike, I have to go back and fix what they f**ked up when they're done. It's disgraceful. I'll probably give the guys at Clinton County a shot when I need warranty repairs on the FJR.
