It's going to happen the 9th peeps..

The weather is looking about average as far as temperatures so I see no reason to soup samich this grandiose affair.

I really need a head count for this event, sleeping space is a big concern. Food and booze? Not so much
Ray & I will be arriving Friday to help herd the sheep to make room for the bikes and with the work we have planned for my bike I expect we may go late into Saturday so the current plan is to head back to the Great White North on Sunday morning. Then again if this goes as well as the G2 Throttle Tube job we might have to spend the next week in beautiful downtown Owosso.

Yep, we're a go for the 9th, folks.

Sooze and I are taking Friday off so we can have a leisurely ride up. Believe me - that ride up on Friday night amongst the exodus from Detroit SUCKS so I'm looking forward to a leisurely ride up.

So, we'll be up there ... sometime ... on Friday, probably later in the afternoon.

Add me to the head count for Friday night. I'm pretty skinny, though, so I only need half a bed. The tough decision is whether to be the big spoon or the little spoon.

All beds spoken for at this point, Andy an Sooze get their own room, Bill, Ray, Pickles, and Design Flaw get to double bunk.. No not bed share  just a room, two per room. We have two air mattress's that can be set up in the Basement or garage if anybody passes out while in that area.. ;)

By the looks of that grip change I'd have to say retirement wasn't an option
Wanna know something really scary?

Think of how that throttle tube exercise went, and ask him what he did for a living. :dribble:

I think it's somewhat of a miracle that Canada has melted down.

And I do mean the whole country.

:p

I think Bill's middle name might be "Candu" and he's got heavy water in his veins, cold beer in the fridge. Of course, you have to know what Candu's are to understand that.

Well, since I can't make it up there I decided to do this:

You are enrolled in the TC - Advance Rider Course (ARC).

Thank you for enrolling in Lee Parks Total Control Advanced Rider Clinic (ARC)

Sun Classroom 8:00AM Range 10:00AM - 6:00PM

:yahoo:

Turn BikerGeek into a mechanic? No Candu
I heard he had a bad altitude..... if only we could get him to pay attention!

Have a great time with that! I took that course a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it, and I did get something out of it.

Oh, yeah? Well, just for that, I'm gonna prove you wrong. Tonight, I'm gonna replace the headlight that's been out since NAFO, and I bet it'll take me under an hour to do it. So THERE!

And maybe, just maybe, if it's still light out, I'll pull the dash panels and try to figure out why my left FF50 isn't working. (It's looking like rain on Friday for the ride up and I'd prefer to have all my lights working.)

Andy...hope you have a dry ride
Well, it's looking like I'll prolly be getting wet heading out of town and then it'll dry up as I get north, so no biggie. Not sure at this point if Sooze is gonna ride with me or drive up separate. We'll see...

As part of the grand prize package we've heard about, the contest will be to see who has the most parts leftover after you get your bike together. Side bets will be taken, but Andy has to give us juice. The grand prize is a private session with Dolly.
