We may have another local guy (Ray - you met him a while back; he kinda looks like Ron Jeremy) doing valves as well. We'll see.

Bring your wife. Remember that there is a winery aboot 5 minutes from the house. We're friends with the owners. JSNS

Would love to introduce "Drinking Me" to you all this weekend, but I can't be gone two weekends in a row with wife and little one at home. "Drinking Me" will see you all the following weekend at EOM. "Breaking Stuff Me" is available 365 days a year.

(Hopefully see you all at one of these next year...really enjoyed meeting some of you in Owosso this year).

Don.

I forgot to mention, weather permitting there will be a tent on my bike so that i can join the beer tasting activities.

Why am I listed as "break stuff"? No one here has had the privilege of watching me do that.

YET!

Just going to put this out here - I am not going to ride home to get parts this time...

I'll give this a maybe. LeAnne doesn't work that weekend. Ideally, I'll have my STS module to put in. I'd be a Saturday late morning arrival, likely grabbing a hotel room. I can assist with electrical stuff if I can make it.
Can I ride the lawnmower?

Plenty of space for your tent.

We all have to have goals in life.

I'm putting this on my calendar. I'm not going to make it to EOM (stupid friend getting married), and I wouldn't mind another weekend road trip before it gets too chilly.

Arrival will depend on clearance from work and wife, and I'll have a tent/hammock for the back yard.

I'd like to do a complete tear down and rebuild of my engine.

Or just a brake fluid flush.

Just make sure you bring them with this time!

That was greatly appreciated last time.

Electrical work for me this time around so hopefully I have everything I need should something come up. STS module arrived yesterday, but I won't have time to install it before Tech Day. Think I'll wait until spring Tech Day to get new shoes on.

I wanna attend and do a fork oil change, like griff. I hope to have my brake and clutch fluid changed before then, but if not that will also be a goal. Now I need to get out of something else I just agreed to that Saturday...

Since you're less than 3 hrs away, I'll probably arrive Saturday morning and leave that evening

The ES fork jobs are likely just a fork oil change and new seals...... no need to change any internals, there are no bushings, your springs are already decent rate, so a good cleanup and reassembly. Seals and oil will be what you need.

I just did two valve checks yesterday, a GenIII and a GenII.... I'm going to recommend that you stick with the your job start to finish and as the stupidvisors supervisors will be hopping much back and forth between jobs and bikes, wondering where the tool(s) went, etc. Going to be a lot going on and working on multiple bikes at once has to be managed........ manager can be spelled 'mangler'......

Great! You can test your theory on Griff's bike so when I get there this will no longer be an unknown!

This tool will stand by his bike, and bleed the brakes/clutch himself, with just a little bit of guidance. I've seen the instructor in action (Ray), and I don't want to add any burden beyond pointing.

Pista bled his at Tech Day last fall. I've done mine in the past, but my '04 doesn't have all that fancy-schmany linked brakes that y'all have.

That's really the only reason why I'll be looking for guidance. I've bled on a non-linked, non-abs bike. I don't want to hurt my fancy-schmancy Pink Lady.

Jon if you wear matching pink lipstick, I promise you some attention will come your way!

Edit - oops, maybe that didn't come out right............
