I won't join the Goldwingers who ride Mardi Gras Parades...I cringe when my local PGR (Patriot Guard Riders) are invited to ride Veterans Day Parades. I'm usually successful in getting other(s) to represent my local riders...mostly new members who get excited about it until their Screaming Eagles overheat.

What happens to those police bikes when they are done with them? Do they go to some type of auction?

I know in Australia our State Police (New South Wales)sell them through an auction house. Thats how i bought mine.

Considering that they run much cooler than ST1300s... I think it would be a great idea as a cop bike in TX.
