October? Is this for snowmobiles or moto-bikes??
count me in and looking forward to toasting a few with beemerdon. Don, this gig is really some good fun and brillianty coordinated by UberKul and his posse. Just enough supervision (none) to allow us all to get into a lot of trouble.

RJ, sounds great!

I just might be able to make this.Do I bring the KLR or the RZR?

That will depend on the wife.

If she can make it I will bring the RZR.

Joe
Joe, if your wife doesn't attend, do you want to share a cottage? ShinyPartsUp: Do you want to cottage share with Joe and I, if your wife doesn't attend FODS 2010?

If I read the description correctly, it appears there are 4 separate beds in each cottage. Perhaps exskibum and Old Michael (Kalifornians?!) can share the fourth bed?

Of course not, my dear friend Shiny! Looking forward to seeing you also at FODS! We will have to help Old Michael spoon some Dunlop D606 knobbies onto his FJR!

Careful about using spoon and Old Michael in the same sentence. Just sayin'

That's the way to do it, makes it pretty affordable that way. Beware though, two singles and a double in ONE Room and a hide-a-bed in the living area. That exceeds my personal man-flesh per square foot rule!

Thanks for the inside information on this, Uberkul! Joe, Old Michael and Papa Chuy are all ex-military; so it'll be just liking sleeping in a barracks again. Well, let me clarify this: OM was an Air Force zoomie, so you can make your own decision as to whether he is ex-military or not; Tucson Joe and I were Army dogfaces, in the 60s.

ShinyPartsUp was in the Cub Scouts, but I heard through the grapevine, that he washed out of the Boy Scouts; we will just see about him!!! El Burrito Ballerina, DS.

pencil me in, but I can't promise. I'll see if I can get the time off -- but I want the bunk farthest from OM.

Don, my wife Kat wouldn't go to an event of this caliber, she has far too much class. Besides, she might break a nail or get dirt under one -- I'd never hear the end of it.

Who the hell told on me???!!! I was a Webelo, but never made it to the brown shirt uniforms. by the time I was ready to sign up for the big leagues, the Viet Cong heard I was graduating high school and got scared.

I'll take the roll away, OK? I'll have a sleeping bag if it comes to it. ;)

OK, I could do the research, but I'm tired lazy. What is an RZR? Hope you can make it. Hell, hope I can make it.
A golf cart on 'roids.

Seriously though, my sister-in-law has one and they are wicked fast, tippy but great fun! Bring both... we need a beer hauler. :D

OOOOOHHHHH! That goes on my Farkle wish list! THAT looks like fun.

If I bring the RZR, I will also be in my truck and cab over camper.

Will stay in the camp area.

The only problem is it does not look good right now.

Will let you know as soon as I know.

amazing
The chance to come to the Battle Born state gets the street *******' panties in a wad
Uh....No! It could be that plans were already made to be elsewhere. :bleh:

Canada vs Battle Born state?? --Trust me going to Canada ain't nothing like coming to Nevada ....try drinking 24/7, shooting guns, gambling and all other fun up there, aint' gunna happen.
Er...you're forgetting WHO the hostess is for the Canada Adventure.

And for those of us who don't drink, shoot, gamble, etc..... There are only a few good things about Nevada that spring to mind:

RenoJuan, Beerme, Eeksnake, lovely scenery against the Sierra Nevada Mountains, a few picturesque desert vistas.

Count me in, I'll take Walker River....<snippage>
Looking forward to it, thanks for setting this up.
It's on my calendar. I'll be applying for the time off.

I will also be reserving a cottage so there'll be plenty of bed space for the "bachelors".

I guess we'll just deal with the drinking and cigar smoking and other entertainment by RenoJuan.

I booked RV space #43. Cottages #3-5 would be the ones to book to keep the group in the same area.

The gal told me that weekend is the first for hunting season so don't wait too long to book your cottages. As of today #3-#5 are all available.

LOL, I promise to not let you down sir Mikey.
**Thanks Mr. Uberkuhl, got it on the calendar and you sure are good at putting these gathering in some good places. Washington, and now Walker River. Nice job

Thanks, but last years FODS was coordinated by the one and only FJRob. By posting this acknowledgment you have now volunteered to coordinate 2011! ;)
