I booked RV space #43. Cottages #3-5 would be the ones to book to keep the group in the same area.The gal told me that weekend is the first for hunting season so don't wait too long to book your cottages. As of today #3-#5 are all available.

Thanks to my Big Buddy madmike2 tipping his Papa off, I now have Cottage #4 reserved for ShinyPartsUp and Chuy! Per Sandy, Mike and Brad: These cottages will sleep four adult males, so SPU and I have two extra beds for roomies. RenoJohn, Old Michael and exskibum: Let me know if you want to stay with us! 480-440-4666.

I VERY much would like to go, but I'd have to say it is looking grim at this stage beemerdons and all. Vacation time is disappearing fast and money with it. If I go, I'm afraid I won't know for several weeks, if not months until some loose ends (like a new boss hired and starting later in March) fall in place. So I will follow this thread. I just could not give up WFO or Western Canada this year.

And I still have to learn some Spanish before I meet up with Don on the Mexico trip. You never know if I'll have to bail him out of jail or something.

SPU, when you show up at Policia Estacion, just look El Jefe Policia in El Ojo and say: "!Vayase! !Dejeme en paz! ?Que diablos quiere usted?" That will piss them off enough, they will let your Papa Chuy go; and then they will throw your sorry *** into El Hoosgauw!

Hey old man ....don't even start being a buzz-kill this early into the game. Shhezzze, skooty hasn't even got the first farm animal dressed up in women's clothes yet ....

whoever res'vd this cottage(#4), let me know if you need any fund$ etc. I surely don't want to lose my bunk and have to slum over in MadMike2's abode.

This is gunna be crazy times ---and of course the kind of fun that can't be duplicated anywhere else.

BTW, ....anyone that wants some of the besterest basque food that Nevada has to offer ....let me know as I have a secret spot not far away from our lodging locaton, unkown to most, even most locals. Truly yummy, a great spot and real nevada charm.

all the more reason I have to redouble my efforts to get there. I'll press for the time off before my new boss gets on the site March 8 and might say no....

Well, my boss said I should get the time off. The wife-unit is back from seeing her pregnant daughter and toddling grandbaby. Right after she arrived home, her son called to say his family unit is pregnant. So I struck while the iron is hot. Sounds great, UberKul! I'm bringing plenty of ammunition for both of my Beretta's. We can stage a competition for fixed target and trap. I suck at shooting skeet!
