I'm thinking it is how the tracks are displayed on the different GPS's.... I could see where the tech options started and came back into the main trail. As for a warning I still had to look down/watch the screen.
It was interesting talking to the guys that sweep the D/S track on saturday. They wondered what route we took because other than catching up to us on the frist water hole they never saw us again.
When the sweeps caught up to us in the first option I was somewhat concerned about making it to lunch on time for the lunch crew to still be there. We saved a lot of time by not riding Option 2 and staying on the main course. I still say there were only puddles in Option 3, not "Lake Ontario" as Bungie contends.

You do have to wary of the beaver ponds however. Don't ask how I know that.

When the sweeps showed up, they took one look at Bill wallowing in the underbrush and yelled "You've been swept!"

I now the other dual sport group, the one that Bill passed, then immediately stopped after passing, rode 'New road'. I didn't notice any other fresh bike tracks on it when we rode it so they must've been behind us. Not sure how that happened. Maybe Bill's routing skills..
