Hey it took since 1947 since the cards won a championship, (never been to the super bowl, but 5 other teams haven't either) Don't be so sure the cards don't have one more surprize. Can't you Pat fans say congrats to the Cards & Steelers? Most people respect the Pats as a great team but don't hear of many who like them!

Here is the superbowl match-up the RenoJohn household is rooting for: Got the bets in, got the beer cold, ......and in 1/2hour kickoff for the girls conference (NFC) happens

then late this afternoon......the boys (AFC) play .

For that game may be down at one of the Casino Sport Bars to best appreciate it and bump up the wagers.

We long suffering Red Bird fans are just happy y mas suerte to be finally going to the Super Bowl. Can we beat the mighty Pittsburgh Steelers? Yo no se! My company Metro Mechanical has held four Cardinals tickets ever since they came to the desert from St. Louis. We use these tickets for our client development and as the resident NFL junkie I have been taking our customers to the Cardinals games ever since. During the lean years it was sometimes hard to get a client to go and I would take my neighbor Esteban Madrigal and his daughters here en El Barrio del Chandler to the game. The joke during the Buddy Ryan fiasco years was that the way to get eight tickets for the Cardinals game was to show up at Sun Devils Stadium two hours before kickoff and place two tickets under your windshield wiper, when you would come back to your car 15 minutes before the game would start you'd find six more tickets under the blade! Finally seeing a Super Bowl; Arriba!!!

The Arizona Cardinals have got to be the worst Football franchise in the in the NFL. I could care less about the bleepin Cardinals.
Still, I love to see an underdog pull off 'claimed' impossible.

So, since my Bears yet again wallowed in the pit of mediocrity, Go Cards! I guess.

We are quite happy up here in N Arizona too! If we win the super bowl (I hear the spred is 6 1/2 points, gonna wait till everyone bets on the steelers and the spread goes up), I will have a great year on my bets, I'll be 16 for 20!

Absolutely. Congrats to the Cards for making it to the big game (finally).

And especially congrats to the Steelers for winning the AFC conference Championship (which was quite an achievement) for the 7th time. BTW - the Steelers won on 6 of those 7 trips, tied for most SB wins with Cowboys and 49'ers. I think the Cards have a real challenge ahead now.

Yep it's gonna be tough to beat the steelers , but not many thought thay would even beat the falcons , I guess if they had a bird name a cardinal can beat up most other birds! (falcons, eagles) :lol:

Since spending a day with Fred Biletnikoff as youngster (me the youngster, Fred was old even then) in aprox 1975 ......

We've all seen or know that certain girl that is in an abusive relationship. Her friends family etc tell her to leave the guy .....Yet, she keeps going back for more abuse. That is the story of me and every other Raider fan. Every season we sign up for more abuse. It is not the for the meek, it is painful, it is frustrating and it is just the worst form of torture. It doesn't make you stronger, wiser or anything noble like that. Instead it makes your heart black and bitter.

I'm so angry that I've taken down my Raider Avatar for a while ...as it reminds me of the worst few seasons ever.

And MadMike is dead on yet again. RAIDERS always come first, and the NFC (girls conference) is so pathetic ......I could rant forever on this topic........ But I'll limit it to the Seattle Seachickens who got their ***** kicked every week in the men's conference ...they were always at the bottom. they cried like school girls until the NFL put them where they belong -Over in the NFC ...and they're competitive over there in the girlie conference. LOL LOL. What a joke.

Steelers will do a nice job representing the men's conference and will strangle those AZ girls ...me guesses AZ won't score 10points -they're going to get their wings clipped in short order. Remember, you heard it here first.
