I'd like to know what is the smallest painted panel on your bike other than those mini covers used to fill the saddlebag clip holes (assuming the Gen3s have them). The reason is: I need to buy a painted panel so I can check the 2013 color match. I bought some Colorrite paint recently and have had comments about the color match, both good and bad. Without a factory-painted piece for comparison, I can't adjust the tint. Thanks a bunch...

How about that curved piece of trim under the gas tank.. either that, or the piece above the tail section... The mini saddle bag covers are painted in the same color as the rest of the bike, i'm not sure why you'd need something bigger ?

Looks like the side panel under the rider’s seat is the smallest. The smallest painted part (other than the side case inserts) is the mirror adaptor post. It bolts to the upper frame and the mirror bolts to this (I think). Later,,,De

Gary I had some stuff painted locally and it is very very close, i would say the only place it looks different is under the lights in the garage.

The smallest piece is gonna be under the tank.
