Thank you one and all. A special thanks to the Axe and family for your recent sacrifice.

My humble gratitude and respect for those who have died serving our country.

RIP Jordan ....and all the other sons, daughters, moms and dads who have died.

Monday, if you are not already planning to attend a service, take a moment to think of all the fallen. We owe them an unpayable debt.

I missed Thanksgiving weekend last year, so I'll be taking a bag of goodies to the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy, IL. tomorrow. Next Memorial Day Week End I'll post up in advance in case anyone would like to join in.

1) Praise the fallen.

2) Thank a vet.

3) Fly the flag. (Mine is up with a flood light shining.)

4) Be grateful for those who willingly sacrifice(d).

Thanks for starting this thread, Dave.

Memorial Day will have extra special meaning to me this year. Instead of Jordan picking up the spent shell casings from the color guards rifles as he used to do as a child, the rifles retort will be meant for him.....

All my honor and respect to the brave men and women of our military who are currently deployed and all of those who have served and died for our freedoms. You will always have a special place in my heart.
