Okay, here's a small sampling of things I've built over the years. Photo quality in many cases is pretty mediocre (as are some of the pieces), since some of this was built before digital cameras were available/affordable. Hopefully these images aren't too big. I downsized them once already.
12-drawer chest for storing artist's supplies. Rift- and quartersawn red oak, ebony pulls, maple drawer sides, 200 dovetails in all
Drawer detail
Butler & end table in walnut
Dressers in red oak, maple drawers. These were adapted from plans from an early issue of Woodsmith
Entertainment center w/flipper doors. Rift- and quartersawn red oak. I've built a lot of these, mostly in cherry, but this was my favorite (even though the client wanted oak)
Funky bathroom cabinet for an architect's funky house, in maple with cardinal red aniline dye on two doors, two sides
In situ
Walnut display cabinet for client's 'dolls'. Four pieces totaling 11 feet wide. Had to transport it 200 miles to their home.
Audio/video cabinet. Rift- and quartersawn white oak, 2 drawers inside. Published in Woodwork magazine (issue 57, June 1999)
Drawer detail. Doors are flipper-style
Countertop & funky cubbies in cherry for another architect's funky home (I didn't do the kitchen cabinets, just these that separate the kitchen from the dining area.
Wetbar in quartered red oak. These are actually in my house ...
Slate tile detail
Knife-edge table top in walnut. Client supplied the base
Knife-edge detail
So that's what I do in the winter...
