"I was sitting there in Arizona, it's 110 degrees, the air conditioning wasn't working, the crapper in the RV wasn't working, I gotta' bike 100 miles in this heat and great, I've got to deal with this," he said. "It was nasty and filthy and it felt weird ... But I didn't have saddle sores from then on, riding 130 miles a day. When you're on the bike, you're like 'Oh, this stuff is great.'"

I grew up with this stuff, my grandfather had a dairy farm and that's all they ever used on cuts.

No band aid could ever stick so they always used a chunk of a sheet and taped that on with good ol' Johnson & Johnson First Aid tape. That stuff would rip your hide off so it was perpetual thing LOL

But the worst was when it was hot and the stuff would melt. Very nasty. Hot being a relative word since I grew up in Buffalo.

Somebody coating their butt with it in 100+ degree temps sounds pretty nasty. I would need to be in a lot of pain before making that step.
