I read Hannagan Lodge was saved & 50 firefighters were stranded their due to road closure but being supplied by air. The fire map shows the fire has moved across 191 & thru the meadows.

Yo Robbie! What cave did you come out from?

Got a link to the fire map?

Glad Hannigan meadow was saved.

Saw this on our local news last night. Wish I could send you some of the rain we are getting today. Fire sucks, I rode through that area a few years back. Real nice, felt just like riding around some of our eastern Sierra's.

Sad news Don. I hate to see my former home state burning again and hope is doesn't get to the magnitude of the Rodeo-Chediski fire of 2002. Positive thoughts go out to the fire fighters and residents for a good outcome for all.

The smoke from this fire here in Albuquerque, 200 miles away, is amazing. Having lived in the mountains of Colorado for 21 years, I've been downwind of a fair share of wild fires, but I've never seen smoke this thick and sustained so far away from a fire. Welcome to New Mexico, I guess.

I sure hope those firefighters catch a break soon and are able to get this blaze under control.

The smoke from those fires is making it hard to see here in Albuquerque, we have to shut down the airconditioners in the afternoon to stop pulling the smoke into the house. But the sunsets are nice!
