Looks fantastic! :clapping:

Are you going to be shooting it with Color Rite, or have you come up with a good match in automotive paint?

Looking forward to the pics of it installed. Great fab skills (and patience!) :yahoo:

Thanks Don, I checked into Colorite ,and that's the way I was heading, even though they are way to proud of their paint(pricewise). Then I ran across a PPG color in the 2006 FAQ page . I went to Napa and they cross referenced it to their Crossfire paint(single stage urethane). So for 33 dollars a pint (since I have all the rest of the reducers and hardners already) compared to hundreds of dollars for all the Colorite stuff,I should be good to go. Even if it is a shade off it's not a big deal.most of the time it will have a tank bag on it so you don't see that much of the tank.I'm tied up doing a drywall ceiling until friday so it is gonna have to wait until the weekend before I shoot the color. Stay Tuned!!

Looking forward to seeing how close the match is. It would be magnificent if we could come up with an alternative to the overpriced ColoRite product line. They are just insane with their pricing <_<

If it is close, I'll bet lots of us would like to know the brand/mix number!

I found the paint code on this website on the faq page

Excuse me if this has been addressed, but how big a tank bag do you think you can run? I know I have a pretty good sized Fullthrottle setup - which I feel is minimum for the type of riding I do - and it's a PITA sometimes. In fact, I need to come up with some "button protectors" for the horn and starter.

I like the work you've done for sure and something I wouldn't mind doing myself vs adding an aux tank, but the tank height "scares" me so to speak.

I am already running a Heli bar riser + blocks, so the bars are as high as they'll go...

This tank is only 1 1/2 "taller than it was. The only thing that I did was move my Zumo over to the Brake cover from the stem nut.

Very freakin nice, can't wait to see it on the bike!!
