****! I'm guessing where you live, deer strikes are very common. I'm glad you stayed up and are ok. Hope the bike gets fixed, but if not, comprehension coverage is usually very good, and a new '16 may make you feel MUCH better!

Glad you were able to walk away from that one, sorry about your bike. Hope the repairs/replacement goes without any problems.

Wow! Glad to hear you're okay. Bikes can be replaced much as even I hate to say that. Hit one myself quite a few years ago, not quite so lucky as to stay upright.

Yikes! Echoing congratulations and amazement at keeping the bike upright. Hope no injuries (muscle strains, stress fractures, etc) show up later today or tomorrow.

And so glad you didn't hit THIS guy!

Damn shame about the bike though. Good luck with the insurance.

Pressure wash it and you will never know.... Where we live here on the island there is one major deer strike per day... They are like rats out here.... Good luck with the repairs and glad you're OK ...

Yep kudos for maintaining rubber down. And yea, at least it wasn't a boar or something. I've seen folks in the mountains hit boars, wreck their bike, and then have to dodge the boar because it got up and charged them!

Glad you are ok. Now you need to add the deer tag to your signature.

Hopefully I never have the need to do that.

Got any pics of the bike? How bad was it? Hopefully any farkles are still intact and can be transferred over to a new '16.

+1

Just repeating what everybody else said, I am sorry about your motorcycle but happy you are okay to type this. I do not know if you are that lucky or that good but either way congratulations on keeping the bike upright. That is awesome in itself.

I will PM my address so you can ship me the backstrap.
