The 2006 KrZy8 rotors are waaaay below spec. Scary low.

Thinking of swapping 25k mile rotors from Naomi (2013) to the 2006.

Buy new wave rotor for the 'young blood' 2013 FJR.

Galfer fronts are ~420 per! <gasp?

Read somewhere here recent, can't find it now..

Somebody used Chinese knock offs and was happy.

Any ideas of what to run?

Found these..

TIA, dCarver

I used some cheap Chinese rotors on my wing and they work just fine for about 1/3 the cost of factory.  I had to pay the big bucks for the 03 FJR cause they were orphans.

One other thing, make sure that the rear is the same size as stock.

I bought one used and it was around 1/2” less diameter than stock.

Galfer also has a cheaper set @ $306 each.

Talk about coincidence; I was just looking at these right before I saw you post. I don't "need" new rotors, but after having wave rotors on my '03, the plain round rotors on

my '14 still look wrong to me.
I'll take your 2014 rotors after you buy the hi-dollar Galfers! What are buds for, eh? :)

DON - IMO stock rotors are fine. The real difference are the pads. Problem is many aftermarket pads will eat the rotors stock or not. AM rotors can handle the more aggressive pads but then work better when hot, cold not so much. I got some great Galfer pads (I loved Galfer products on my Duc) one time for the FJR, assured by the rep at the MC show they would be fine on my stock rotors. Well the bike stopped like it has breaks from a Ducati. Problem was my rotors were soon looking like the grand canyon in grooves. I ended up getting stock rotors pads and installed them, love them.

Good luck!
