I am looking for a solution for fuel for an upcoming UCCC ride. My range

Is around 180 miles, I need around 240. So I am looking for a cheap cell

That I can strap on the rear seat. On this bike (Dakar) the fuel fill cap is

Beside the seat, so I was thinking of just having a fuel line into the filler

cap and refuel with opening a cutoff valve.

2 gallons would. be perfect. Even a fuel can with fuel line connections

Would work as long as it had a cut off valve. Any ideas would be welcome.

I do not want to dump a lot of cash on this as I can always carry a fuel. can

And stop to refill.

I have a 5 gallon fuelsafe plastic fuelcell you may be interested in. You could strap (tiedown) the cell. Do not short change yourself on fuel volume.

If interested $150 plus shipping takes it. MSRP was $500. Letme know. Or the full soup to nuts aluminum fuelcell for the FJR $500..
