Just slapped on a pair of these single compound tyres today. I will let you all know how they perform. I had the Michelin Pilot Roads before. The edges were like new. I wore the crap out of the center.

Caveat: I don't rail the Feejer through the twisties nor do I hit 3 digit speeds. I just can't see buying expensive tyres that will wear out the center portion as quickly as the cheapies. I wanted the Shinko Ravens (hard compound), but these will do for now. We'll see.

Buy the stock Metzlers. They wear like iron. I got 13,701 miles out of m original set.
