I have had good luck with the 2610 streetpilot. I lost one in an accident and purchased a refurbed 2610 that has work very well. I going to try the 550 NUVI which is waterproof and rated motorcycle friendly and can be purchased new for $277.00. The 500 NUVI which is the same unit that also includes the TOPO maps can be purchased for $245.00 refurbed. I find the TOPO maps a little confusing for me I'm going to try a NUVI 500 that does not have the TOPO maps. You can get a power mount bracket and a direct wire kit from Cycle Gadgets. The NUVI's do not offer all the features that the streetpilot does but it is a much small unit that you can slip into your pocket.
