Motorcycles don't have standardized diag port like cars do. Something like this would be possible, but custom-plugged for each bike.

Understood, but you bring up a sad fact nonetheless. You'd think that motorcycle/powersports industry would have long ago adopted at least one of the 3 OBD-II protocols to better facilitate EPA, CARB and Euro emissions standards checking..? In my perfect world however, all of the bike manufacturers will simply follow BMW's lead and implement CAN-bus technology. One can only hope...
