Gas Mileage 5 MPG/1.4 MPD

I've been noticing an increase in fuel mileage over the last few tanks - I've gone from 40 to 45 MPG. Seems to coincide with Fachactafornia's recent dropping of MTBE as an additive... Anyone else notice this? How about you guys in AZ? I heard they were to dropping it too.

Either that or you're a recent graduate of the new riding school I've been hearing about: 'ScooterG's minimal approach to throttle usage in an effort to extend tire life'

Oh, no... It ain't that. Me and Ms. Mulhulland conspired to use up a lot of Mr. Michelin today. Young punks on their GSX-R's and R1's... chillren gotsta learn their place, ya know!

Interesting. I too have noticed an increase in fuel mileage. About 3-4 mpg. I attributed it too the switch from winter blend gasolines, to summer blends. I believe I have noticed the same thing in the past. However, that is just SWAGing.
