Made it to the Bay area for breakfast, another vote for Santa Barbara for clans. Late enough for us northerners to get through the passes, eh?

Funny how we always gravitate towards home when we think of meeting up somewhere.

Rich heres a little clue for you.....Tahoe = elevation = not gonna happen.........for me anyway.
**** -- you asked, I took the bait and suggested.

Responsive clue: if that's an issue already, then stop smoking before it kills you.

I probably won't make it the first half of May anyway -- likely to be riding elsewhere.

You guys get together in May and I might come out and join you. Just warning you in advance.

Those guys get together to eat chicken pot pie. It's nice when yer within a hundred miles of each other.....

I just added a Poll to the first page.....

I have just been checking rates at several Casino's in the SD area and they are very expensive....nice but expensive so bear that in mind.

Is there a reason we have to stay at a casino? I know there are lower priced places down there that might suffice for the budget conscious (i.e. Convention Center area?).

How about Mammoth Lakes? Still near all the mountain passes, could make a run to Death Valley if someone wanted to, could ride into the Nevada desert, mountain biking and hiking galore if anyone wants, lots of hotels, restaurants, golf courses, etc..... Just a thought (and maybe a bad one)

Passes might still be iffy that early in May...

I voted for Santa Barbara... a lot closer/easier for me to get there and not have to slab it down and back... :)
