Fixed it for you. That early in May is almost never a "go" for the top of Sonora, Tioga or even Ebbetts passes. With the snow pack we have already, especially above 8,000 feet, they are almost guaranteed to be closed then, even if we don't get any more snow for the rest of the season.PassesHow about Mammoth Lakes? Still near all the mountain passes, could make a run to Death Valley if someone wanted to, could ride into the Nevada desert, mountain biking and hiking galore if anyone wants, lots of hotels, restaurants, golf courses, etc..... Just a thought (and maybe a bad one)might stillWILL be iffy that early in May...
