Doing a retreat this weekend in Santa Barbara. Then going fly fishing in the Eastern Sierra's next weekend.
Not sure how much of a third weekend I'll get!
Friday might go relatively un-noticed, so Jalama sounds primo.

Made my reservation at the Motel 6 in Goleta for Friday night and Saturday night. I have that Friday off, so any caravans up from Southern Cali?
The wife is staying at home with her StreetTriple as her tender body can not ride that many miles.

I'm real dull here folks. Are the ones going to Jalama Beach going to already be in SB all day Friday?
I thought we were eating at Jalama Cafe burger joint in Lompoc???
Anyway, I'll be coming up Friday and even if I left at 10am I'd just make it to the burger joint by 1pm, doing the big loop from SB, I'd be in LA and Ventura traffic all morning.

Lunch IS at Jalama Beach on Friday at 1pm. We will be in Goleta Thursday night so really will not need to leave until noon...but as we are going to add a few miles on to the journey before lunch we will be leaving when Roy gets to the hotel.(between 10 and 11am)
by the way the traffic will not be too bad up PCH and you are on a bike for fucks sake.....

What he's talking about, and what I tried to convey in post 278, but didn't do a good job, is that there is a Jalama Beach Cafe location in downtown Lompoc. I know you were talking about going out to Jalama Beach, but I don't think he did......but does now so all is good. But just so everyone knows, there is a second location for Jalama Beach Cafe in Lompoc that has been open for a couple years. Good food.........but the ride out to the beach makes the food at the beach MUCH better.
