Could you please someone tell me,if and how can i adjust the angle of the mirrors?
I see that they have underside a nut.I tried to move them forward or backward, but they didn't move.If i will unscrew this nut,the mirror will go forward or backward?Or the position of the mirror is fixed from the factory in their brackets?
Thanks in advance!
Mihalis fjr,

You can dis-assemble the mirror carrier from the mount by removing one nut from the bottom of the pivot point. The "detent" that holds the mirror in place is done with small ball bearings that fit into holes in the pivot plates. You probably want to catch and keep these small bearings, but if you want the mirror to pivot beyond the detents, you will not need them now. You can re-arrange the washers as described by INEWLF above. Cut a round "washer" from thin sheet rubber (such as an old inner tube), somewhat larger than the size of the steel washers in the pivot assembly. Clean away any grease, then install this rubber "washer" where the steel ball bearings were, between the detent plates. By making the mirror carrier nut tight or loose enough, you can "set" the friction that you want at the pivot, to hold the mirror at the angle that you need.

Cheers,

Infrared

I can't add much more than has already been said........ you can rearrange the washer pack at the bottom of the pivot, or override the detent, but it won't gain you much. The mirror extenders from Twisted Throttle will gain you much more in width, and quite adequate in my opinion (seeing you spent the bucks on those fancy covers). I'd do those no matter what you choose to do with the pivot......

Thanks for the info about the mirror extenders, but i don't like them very much..But anyway..Thanks!

Believe me,these covers works unbelievable good for the wind protection in the hands!

I installed them because i liked them..I didn't know how great works..!!

Ps,

These covers,i know are not available in USA..But they are available in Europe and Greece..

If someone liked and want them,i can buy and send them to you...!

They cost about 340$ Yamaha dealer price,+ 40$ shipping..a bit expensive...

In Canada they cost about 290$..+ shipping..
