Gen2 & Gen3 seats

Will a Gen2 seat fit a new 2014? Also will a Gen 2 smuggler fit a 2014? Called Russell and they didn't know and haven't heard back from Corbin.

Yes - Gen 2 seat fit to Gen3 - one to one. I tried that. I suppose the same is valid for smuggler too.

Yes a Gen II seat will fit a Gen III. My 2013 had a rock hard seat. I was planning on sending my seat out (I get it back this Wed). I wanted another seat, so I would still have the original style. Actually the one from the Gen II fits better than my original. It turned out the older seat was also far more comfortable. must have been broken in, or different foam.

In my experience of two GenIIs, after about a year of my riding (that's a couple of riding months for most of you USA types ), the seat does get more comfortable with use, probably shapes itself to my backside's profile!

Yes, I resprayed my '06 Cobalt Blue Smuggler and it fits my Gen III perfectly.
