Had seen SwollenRaccon's install of cargo netting on a Yamaha (?) top case and it got me to think about installing one on my Givi while I was working on my hurricane bug out bags. With no inner liner I wanted to minimize hardware and still be tasteful. I thru bolted three attachment points at the bottom using beauty washers, lock nuts and acorn nuts. For the top I used two self tapping screws in blind holes. All five points got a dab of Life Seal calking to seal the unit. The mount points are some picture hanging hardware I found at Lowes. I attached the netting to them with zip ties and then cut the net to size. As a note: the beauty washers are something we used on boat upholstery to hide screw heads and can probably be found a marine supply store. I think it came out pretty good....
