Well I am going South from Cleveland OH area for 4-5 day ride the week of 4/11/2010. Thinking of the Dragon/Snake area.

No slab riding. Lots of miles. Brisk pace (for an old guy). Anyone up for a ride let me know.

Steve

Well no vacation for me...work stuff.

I did get out this past weekend and went south for three days. The weather was great in NC.

Hey Steve,

April's quite a ways off but consider me a maybe. I'm always up to a ripping fast pace I know you'll set.

I will keep you posted! The weather could be a factor that early but we will see.

Itching to get out. I bought a new set of tires that I am going to mount just for this ride. Some comments have been made that they might not last very long but I am thinking 4-5 days will be 2-3k miles. Dunlop Q2s are more for a sports bike but should be sticky! A shop in our area was going under and I got them cheap.

It would be great if you can make it!

Steve

If you can wait a month, you might want to check out this thread : WheatonFJR's camping meet. The weather should be warmer and you can join more than 40 other forum members.
Life sometimes gets in the way of having fun. I have been following Wheatons thread and thought I could go but the timing is off for me.

Thanks for the tip!

I sure do like this forum and the way people reach out to help each other!!

I understand that. This will be my first chance to meet other members in the 2 two years since joining. there are plenty of events/ chances for gatherings in the future.

And yes , I think this is one of the best forum's and group of people out there.

Well, hope mother nature eases up for you and you have a good trip!

I'm about at the half way point for your ride. If you need anything along the way, please feel free to get in touch.

Thank you! I look forward to meeting you on this trip or another one. We are planning on the EOM if they ever pick a place!
