Damn you mean I designed that bird house transport mount for nothing!!!

I've been on several solo trips so packing is no problem for me but thanks for the tips. I just need to convince her I know what I'm doing....yeah I know I'd be better off pissing up a rope :)

Packing for two is challenging, especially here in New England where you need to bring gear for both cold and hot riding on the same day. My pillion packs the bike in a subtractive process, she brings everything to the bike and then starts setting aside things until it fits on the bike. I do not recommend this process!

You may want to consider something like a Nelson Rigg Dry Bag for the extra cargo capacity plus it makes enough of a back rest to help your pillion feel secure. On some trips of a week or more I ditch the OEM trunk and use a soft bag for more flexibility and storage room.

Nice looking bag, might have to get one. Never been a trunk fan except on my wing. Got a bigger rack for my FJR to lash the soft stuff on.
