As I've never seen a topic regarding this subject I thought I'd give a Shout Out.

Just received yet another Check from a member here for services rendered, and I have to say Bravo peeps!! :clapping:

I've always sent products, be it bike parts or Plaques and requested payment after the buyer gets the item, and have never ever been burned.

I've dealt with several "local community" forums and have lost money more often than I care to discuss.

Anyway, Justa big thanks to all I've dealt with over the last few years :clapping:

AND on a serious note, I gotta agree with that from both sides. Not only does it seem people get paid; the things I have purchased from Forum members have always showed up in a timely manner and were exactly as represented...Kind of cool I think.

Our 14 year old Siamese Cat who never sleeps on the bed decided she wanted to last night..... Had a damn seizure and pissed all over the bed while we slept, well she woke us up in the middle of it <_< To expensive to fix her so she goes down Monday.

The truth is that I wanted to get a feel if I should out him and was holding back in case the admin decides that this would not be the place to solve a dispute...

bought a "used" techmount short stem double platform from 05fjrBluedevil for total of 85 bucks

received it and it looked like crap had to soak it in paint thinner first to get all the glue crap of the whole mount incl. stem, nut and screws. Underneath the velcro2 screws holding platform missing, base hex nut major damage on 2 corners probably from a pipe wrench. I could have bought a new unit for 89.95

Must mention that High Gear Specialties are super nice guys and very helpful and accomodating if help is needed. Kudos to David in customer service!

So that's my side of the story and I'm sticking to it...cause I got the parts to prove it albeit much cleaner now

No I am not badcat and bikesniffer,just bikesniffer here and yes you are confused, sometimes things do appear to be different if you do not have all the facts...he told me the guy backed out of the deal (apparently that was badcat) so he sold it to me...

need anything else ?
