It's too far out to know. Nothing will be accurate until about Tuesday or Wednesday. I've seen all the weather websites be completely wrong, like last year during my NAFO trip. Prayers are good though. I'm hoping it clears up after Wednesday. Wunderground is only showing a 20% chance of showers for Thursday.

And ya need good tires anyways!

True true

Last year's forecast was very similar but only Friday had a little drizzle which only lasted until mid-morning. The other days were great.

I Don't Care!! My Tires are in Great Shape!! I'm Still Going!!

Just need to pack a bottle of RainX for the face shield.

That stuff works wonders!! B)

Yep...I don't care much either. I'm goin'!!!

Since I will be camping, if there would be no precipitation while I am setting up or breaking camp...that would be most appreciated.

I was thinking the drizzle lasted well into the afternoon....fog too :angry2:

Since the ride to Eureka Springs and back home via some North Carolina Twisties on the way back is going to be wonderful, I won't mind much if I get land locked

at the Inn for 3 days with a comfortable bed, Catered Food, Good people and Cold beer!! I've had it much worst!! See Ya'll There!

I'll be the guy with the BIG SMILE ON MY FACE!! :yahoo:

I don't remember the entire day. I remember the morning drizzle, it was clear when the group I was with stopped for lunch and I thought it was clear the rest of the riding time....however, that was the day of your get-off, and I know the roads were slick. :(

I think the showers were scattered enough last year on Friday that it all depended on where you were and what directions you were headed.

I heard people say they were in it all day.

I heard some say they hit some here and there.

The group I was in saw a drop or two a couple times. Then the last ten minutes or so it was light showers.

Then about twenty minutes after we got back (about 3:30 or 4:00) all hell broke loose for about an hour.

Anyways, that's MY story and I'm sticking to it.

Don't ya just love it when you plan something months in advance, And it gets rained out? :glare:

I aint afraid of no water, But it sure is fun when it's dry!

It's not gonna be a wash out so please don't say that. 30% chance of rain on Thursday and Saturday is pretty hit or miss. Friday looks to be dry. Doesn't sound like much to complain about to me.

As fjrchik said earlier ... keep watching that link... it'll "update" everyday

and that percentage, as everyone knows, is the area that might see whatever, not how likely it is to whatever

Nice smackdown!!!! :assassin:

All you Floridians and Texicans take note, though, the forecasted daily highs are about 70, and the nights 45-50. So plan on layering for early morning takeoffs.

A 30% chance of rain means . . . . a 70% chance of NO rain.

Can't wait. I 'm SO ready to be outta here....
