Ok , if it wasn't someone here it was over at the fjrowners site. I distinctly remember reading about the incident. When I saw that in Motorcyclist I thought deja vu.
Glenn

Right now I get cycle world and motorcyclist. Used to get Rider as well but let it lapse.
Glenn, that guy was in the south somewhere, IIRC.

Sounds like a story I read on a BMW board awhile back. Guy was riding down to the Keys and was rear ended at speed by a drunk driver. Actually had pictures of the RT halfway through the engine of the car. The guy walked away. I tried to find it on the BM site but couldn't. I wouldn't lie.....about this..... B)

I know I've seen that bike pic lookin like a hood ornament on the forum somewhere. But anybody hit from the rear at 90 MPH I guarantee there wouldn't be much left. And all the mags seem just about the same anymore with maybe the exception of CW. They all seem to run the same articles at the same time on the same bikes. If I see one more article on a Star Stratoliner I think I'm goin to puke. Oh yea, Friction Zone is pretty good, only too short. Well, thats my .02 cents. Painman. <>< :nea:

After 15 years of subscribing to MCN, I canceled 6 mos. ago. They tried to sign me up last month at the Cleveland IX. Told em I really have all the info on the Aprilla and BMW that I can stand. They did some major changes and I think not for the better. Editorials put me to sleep now.

Another Road Runner fan here.Hands-down the best photograghy in motorcycle journalism!Any west coasters here read Friction Zone? They have one of the best writers, sorry I can't think of her name right now.She has great wit and a good flowing style.Always entertaining, also accurate and informative.I know she rides a VFR and she wrote a good piece on Scaggs Valley Rd and Rockpile Rd in the Santa Rosa area.Any help with her name?

Hey,

Besides the more popular choices mentioned here, I also get Rider, which is also kind of fluffy, and RoadRacerX. I really like RRX because they have some of the riders write columns and they don't go overboard on Rossi. They also have articules on past riders, this month was Barry Sheene, it sounds like he would fit right in with this group. :D

Bill

Despite all that, Motorcyclist THESE days is light years better than CycleWorld. CW once had LOTS of intelligent people reviewing bikes who all were as knowledgeable as Kevin Cameron. Now KC writes his column and Bozo & Co. write the bike review.

How about rider? cycle canada? motorcycle mojo? two (two wheels only)? road runner? sport rider? ...just asking
