Best of luck on your new ride - looks great. I am hopefully NOT following fully in your footsteps - I sold my 1800 last September & pick up my fjr in 10 days - yoo hoo!

The 1800 was a great ride for me but I am hoping this new baby will be even better!

See ya at the Dragon

Uh, isn't the goldwing the same as a civic without the roof? I think the Civic get better gas mileage.

I talked with a guy who works at a local HD dealer and he rides an HD trike due to physical pain in his legs and feet. The sales guy who sold me my fjr is in his late 20's and rides sport bikes. He told me his next bike is gonna be a sport-touring bike or cruiser cuz he said the backpain from riding a crotch rocket nullifies the experience. Riding a specific bike cuz of some stupid bike-theology while you're enduring physical pain doesn't make sense.

My opinion is who cares what bike you ride just ride safe, be courteous to others, and don't be a ******** in promoting your bike is the best.

I love the wings and it was on my short-list. However I didn't want to spend beyond what I did for the FJR which instantly knocked out the wing and beemers.

Enjoy your wing. It's an exceptional bike with the highest of manufacturing quality.
