Google search

With all the discussion about using google to search this forum I thought I should post what I found.

Thanks to the folks who know how this works, I was able to search this forum for the topic google.

I typed:

google site:www.fjrforum.com

into my google search box.

I found:

Results 1 - 10 of about 396 from www.fjrforum.com for google. (0.13 seconds)

Now I can click on all 396 links to look for information about google.

Next I searched the topic "any key", cause you know how many times some program or game says to hit "any key"

I found

Results 1 - 10 of about 69 from www.fjrforum.com for any key. (0.44 seconds)

Now with all this knowledge I still can't find the "any" key on my keyboard. :blink: :blink: :dribble:

Boy, I sure love all the deep thinking and Mensa level analysis that went into this post :lol: I think this is is an escapee from last Friday (or the aftermath from lunch with Odot).

Well here is the answer -- you are looking for this key: [SIZE=24pt]*[/SIZE] This is the universal 'wild card' for any key in a search string.
