Years have gone by and I had forgotten all about that trinket until last Tuesday. I moved my wife's car in the driveway. As I got out of the car, I felt a searing pain in my scalp. That damn "Guardian Angel" stabbed me with one of its sharp little cast metal wings.

Superstitious trinkets are the work of the Devil, same as mosquitoes and 6-32 taps.

Mmm Hmm........see...... that'll teach ya ;) . Mine is on the bike and staying there. I work in an emergency room and I guarantee there is no bullshit with the full moon "nonsense" either.

Man oh man. I can see my fellow fjr owners have grown cynical in life. You have let the magic die!!! :bleh: Thats why the world is in such sorry shape. A pox on you unbelievers. :wizard:

I have one. I have found that it does indeed keep the gremlins away. Makes them all ride Harleys so they can't keep up!

Hell yes I had a gremlin bell. Yes someone else gave it to me. No, wasn't a Harley rider. As I understood it, it's something some people give you when you ride with them and they like you.

Mine fell off and yes, I wonder if that's bad juju.

My wife gave me one for the FJR, and there it resides. Nothing to do with superstition, just a cool looking piece of Americana. And now people don't think the Feej is a BMW anymore; now they think its a Harley. Gotta make those "potatoe - potatoe" sounds at stoplights now though...

I was given one a while back... guy put it on my FJR, and I appreciated it and all, but I'm not superstitious, so I took it off and hung it on the door to my one-car garage where the FJR resides.

Hahaha... good one Grumpy!

And, for the record... I have a bell on my bike. It doesn't work... I still crash.

Gave one to my brother. Works like a charm! He's never crashed.

(Hard to crash when you rarely ride. )

I get very superstitious within 30 miles of home ending a long road trip...

You aren't home until you set that sidestand down in your driveway. (or lean it against a tree)
