Grip Puppies are Loose

Ordered the 135 mm long Grip Puppies. The ID is too big for the stock grips.. I was fully prepared with warm soapy water and heck, they just flop right on the grip, way to loose. I could safety wire them, but don't want to.

Anyone installed GP's on a 06 successfully? Did I somehow order the wrong part number?

borrec, Thanks! Just ordered the right size ones. I musta got the ones to fit a HD...

I got the small ones. I just smeared a small amount of liquid dish soap on the inside of them and they slid over the stock grips easily.

Does anyone know if the grip puppies will work on heated grips or will it effectively stop the heat from getting through?

I did the same thing but the throttle side curled up and ripped dem puppys!

They sent me another one and told me to soak the whole grip in dish soap, no problems with that...
