I'm heading up from 'vegas and am interested in catching up with you guys on either route. I could cut across DV in the middle of the night to meet up on 395, or I could head east to Flagstaff and meet up there. When you get plans nailed out, may I join your group?
feel free to email me at worldbound4now at gmail dot com.

Thanks!

I don't know......... last time I rode with you you fell over. :p :p :p :p :p :p
And the humility continues....

Ok in the interest of not leaving it too late i just booked a room at a Best Western in Flagstaff. Got a rate of $71.10 for the wednesday night.

Go here if you want to do the same.

It looks like a good location for an early morning get away up 89.

let me know if you book.

Richard

Good Morning Richard,

Which one of the Best Western Motels in Flagstaff did you book at? There is the Kings House Motel and the Pony Soldier Inn & Suites; both are Best Western's. We Phoenicians have decided to hook up with the California Crew in Flag and ride up through Monument Valley to Park City. We will come back by way of 89 through Panguitch, Utah.

Best Regards, Don Stanley

Good Morning Fairlaner Richard,

Don Stanley, BeemerDonS, will meet you in Flagstaff on Wednesday night. My cell phone number is 602-722-0427 if anything comes up, but other than that look for my 2003 custom painted two tone R1 Blue and Silver FJR. If something occurs before 1500 hours call my work at 602-254-1191x148.

Thanks for planning this, Don

So here is what i am thinking.

We need to leave the LA area early (5am) so we can get across the 40 before it gets too hot. It is about 500 miles to Flagstaff from my house in Torrance.

I would like to have a central meeting spot maybe around the 605 and the 5 freeways. We would then head up the 605 to the 210 and out east to the 15.

we could then hook up with anyone coming from that area.

Suggestions?

Richard

You guys are planning on missing the 1st day of WFO by arriving that night ? I'd like to get very close to there Wed. night but looks like I may be riding alone. Sounds like a good bunch meeting in Flagstaff ! I'm keeping my options open at this point . . . .

I think it will be an early start from Flagstaff so we should be into PC early afternoon so not missing much.

FJRobert: Hola, amigo! If you wanted to stay at my King's House room in Flagstaff on Wednesday just give me a call at either my Cell: 602-722-0427 or my Home: 480-917-3863. I'll call up Best Western and have them change the reservation to a room with two beds, just pay me the difference between the cost of a single occupancy and a double. I was going to have to pay for the hotel room anyway! Hasta la vista, Chuy Medina; aka Don Stanley

Well, I'll be in the LA area next week in a conference and I'll be leave Anaheim around 0600hrs on Friday. If anyone is planning on leaving for WFO Friday morning you're more than welcome to try and keep up. I'm hoping to make it well before dinner time so I can have enough time to take a shower and get properly sloshed!

MMK2, you gonna have a 'special' parking spot for me like you did last year? Do I get any special points if I bring my cushion with me?

If you bring your "Special, Handmade, one-of-a-kind Parking Pillow" (I know the artist, personally)....arrangements can be made. You don't mind parking next to SkooterG, do you?

Hey Richard as of today I would like to ride up with the group and meet on the 15 and 138 maybe at the McDonalds, if that will work ?

Thanks, Dan in Yucaipa.
