Well, I'll be in the LA area next week in a conference and I'll be leave Anaheim around 0600hrs on Friday. If anyone is planning on leaving for WFO Friday morning you're more than welcome to try and keep up. I'm hoping to make it well before dinner time so I can have enough time to take a shower and get properly sloshed!
MMK2, you gonna have a 'special' parking spot for me like you did last year? Do I get any special points if I bring my cushion with me?
If you bring your "Special, Handmade, one-of-a-kind Parking Pillow" (I know the artist, personally)....arrangements can be made. You don't mind parking next to SkooterG, do you?
So park next to the bike that looks like its been reccently down, I can do that! :p

I didn't bring the pillow home, but I still have the case its in. I'll bring it with me in hopes of getting the 'artist' to sign it. You never know, it may be worth something one day!

Ok guys I am back from the UK.

Flew over Utah yesterday on the way home and I gotta say the air in Utah looks really bad due to the fires.

is everybody ready?

Richard

Sergeant Stanley reporting in as ordered, sir! Ready, willing and able to ride my FJR with you and the LA Crew to Utah. Don

Thanks for the offer but I still think I'm going to leave on Tuesday morning & make it to Hanksville for the night & up to Heber City for Wed. evening. From there I'll be able to run up to PC WFO & see if they need any help Wed. night or Thursday morning. I do appreciate the offer from the head of Los Robustos !

:yahoo: Steve Wilber (lucky) and myself will be leaving Indio around 6:00am Tuesday morning. We would like to meet up with you guys Tuesday night if possible. My cell phone is 818-251-0533. (joe Fitzsimmons) We are looking forward to this ride. Take care :yahoo:

As cangler said!!!! We are leaving tuesday early AM and staying over in Williams. I gave orders for the heat to go away, no problem there... Easy ride to Park city and that gives us an extra day to ride around to get the lay of the land and another ride!!!

Joe's and my wife are not going to join us so I have a room available as I will stay with Joe!!!

We wanna hook up with youse guys and gals somedwhere around Williams, AZ

Gave up on the bike communication stuff. Had a Starcom1 but sold it to TWN.

I will be the one happily ignoring everyone, while blasting my iPod. See you early Wed Morn.

John

ok guys I have good news and bad news.

First the good news

My friend Blaine is coming with us and he is driving my car, this means I dont have to pack light :p . it also means those that are coming with us can put their **** in the car also.

No the bad news.

If you are one of the guys or gals that wants to put stuff in the car you will need to chip in some gas money, which i think is only fair as it is gonna cost me another $300 to run the car to PC and back.

Richard

If you went from Blanding over to Hanksville on 95 , then north, you would ride some of the best road in Utah & get away from the 191 traffic & cops & be on a smaller nicer road, just a thought . . . 191 is pretty boring except a bit of nice scenery past Moab.

Thanks for the advice. Seems good to me. I will have to talk to the boss- no not my wife, but Fairlaner. LOL. Cheers, see you soon.
