I guess I'm one too!All FZ1 owners are ******** and the really big ******** own both a FJR and a FZ1.
Am I a bigger a-hole since I've got a 3rd Yammie as well?

So...
How you like the FZ?
I've been thinking about getting another bike.
One that might be easier on tires?
Is there a topic we need to get back on? :dntknw:

FJR Riders are A-Holes...lets stay on topic now rushes...
I love the FZ. Size wise, for me it's the perfect sport touring bike. We have the FJR but I don't pilot it. We use it for two up and my husband rides it more often than his FZ. Since most of the rides we take are a decent distance he opts for the FJR. His FZ is set up to be more sport, less touring.So...

My first bike was a Honda CB450 that wouldn't start. That was short lived. I got a Ninja 500 and then a Ninja 650. When my daughter got her Ninja 250 a couple of months ago, I was thinking it would be fun to get out and flick around on it, but I really can't get over the HP of the FZ.
I do think we need one more. A Triumph Speed or Street Triple is something we'd both agree we'd like to have. The husband has been lusting after the roulette green Speed Triple for years, and I tried to snag one at an auction about a month ago but came in a little short.
I think if I had an FJR for touring I would want something more sport than an FZ, if those were the two bikes I was going to have, but the FZ bridges the gap nicely. But he/we can really do some beautiful carving on the FJR so I can see where it really does all things well.
An on these beat up curvy backroads round here, maybe the 6FZ would be more better?I've got a 98 Triumph Sprint Sport I will NEVER sell...I love the FZ. Something about the 3 cylinders. It stirs yer stuff....
But it's dated.
Looking around at newer playbikes....
I almost bought a Sprint before the FZ. We really wanted my bike to be able to do distance. The first Sprint I rode was nice, if you thought "turn" it turned. It was first gen though, and had some recall issues. Cracked swing arm bolts if I remember right. Waited a bit, test rode a second gen, and it didn't flick like the other one, but I got to the "do I want it in blue or red and ABS or not" stage before I bailed and got the used FZ. For about $8K less. The gas tank on the FZ is the thing that makes it dear to my heart. With the high altitude jetting I can go 225 and a whisker miles without a stop. Makes getting from Laramie to Rock Springs a little less of an adventure in wondering if you are going to make the next gas station.I've got a 98 Triumph Sprint Sport I will NEVER sell...I love the FZ. The FZ6 weighs pretty close to the FZ1, as does the FZ8. If you are going to have all the weight either way, might as well have the liter to go with it.
Oy vay! You can always stop in the garden spot of Rawlins! That is a brutal ride. Get off 80. You should be taking 40 across Colorado. Tsk, tsk! You should know better!Makes getting from Laramie to Rock Springs a little less of an adventure in wondering if you are going to make the next gas station.
