A seecamp .32 might work, making them in .380 now, rare birds. Google seecamp pistols.
But a .32 might not work!

I'm definately trying to avoid something like this happening:

Michigan woman accidentally killed herself while adjusting bra holster, police say

Published February 19, 2015

FoxNews.com

A Michigan woman who died after accidentally shooting herself in the head in the beginning of the year was adjusting her bra holster when the gun went off, police said.

St. Joseph Public Safety Department Director Mark Clapp told the Kalamazoo Gazette 55-year-olod Christina Bond was “having trouble adjusting her bra holster and could not get it to fit the way she wanted it to.”

Clapp also said Bond was looking down before accidentally firing the weapon.

Officers found Bond Jan. 1 with a gunshot wound to the eye. She was taken to Lakeland Hospital and then airlifted to Bronson Methodist Hospital the next day. Bond later died.

Bond spent two years in the U.S. Navy after high school, according to her obituary. She was an administrator at a local church for 15 years and ministered at a jail.

Guns don't "just go off".

Dig for more info before accepting ANY media report on firearms then remain skeptical. As an example, look at a report on something you know about (say motorcycles) and consider their accuracy on that subject. Same with computers, etc. They simply don't know the subject and refuse to vet claims from others.

...The pre-rule to that rule is: If you're too stupid to safely operate a gun and it's accessories, don't go near one.
I live in SC. I cannot know whether I am violating the pre-rule or not based on those I meet. There is both stupidity and guns around.

Of course, I could say that up in Wheaton, IL as well.

EDIT: My choice to live down here...and don't regret it at all. Jes makin a joke.

First, Do not wear a bra.(since you are a guy) Second, IF you have to wear a bra, do not adjust it with a gun in it.
This is why you are a skool teacher! Lesson learned

Bersa Thunder 380 maybe, or a Walther PK380? if I had an FJR handy, I could test with mine. NOT 9mm in the usual sense 9380 ACP rounds are 9x17 v. the standard 9x19 for a "Luger" or "Parabellum" - which is what we all think when we say "9mm".

Echoing the issues around concealment form the public - less so about security. I'm willing to trust you're not a total bonehead and understand that the dash is not a "secure" space per se, and that YOU will take it upon yourself to properly secure any firearm.

Some folks mentioned options...

Carrying while riding? Maybe, but tougher to get to under layers of ATGATT and wouldn't it just suck if your concealed holster accidntly coughed up your sidearm along the road without you realizing it? Nevermind how it would feel if you happened to go down an dland on the gun...oooh...that'd suck.

Under the seat makes sense if you feel you won't need to access the gun - I mean, you'll use it when hiking around camp at the end of the day, but while traveling, you feel you won't need it.

Saddle bags - make more sense as "secure" storage, but could be argued are easier to steal, too - and accessing the gun is almost as restrictive as under the seat.

...and while the bra might not have worked for that unfortunate lady who shot herself, perhaps it's the best bet for the OP after all? ;)

Remember this: It has been shown if a carried gun is not accessible within 5 seconds, it is useless. Making, under the seat, lost in the glove box, or behind you in a saddle bag, options that will make you a guy with a gun, way after he needed it.
This ^^^

... Are you going to remove it from your concealed location and move it to the saddle bag? If you flash it during the process you could also leave yourself subject to either hassle or "man with a gun" calls. Best to carry it on your person and in your control. If knowing your going somewhere (local PD, court) where it's not allowed leave it at home or take the car... especially when going to bars.
And this too!

Concealed carry is tougher with ATGATT but don't use your vehicle as a holster. Specially if you're going where CC is prohibited;

bank, school, bar, government building etc.

Here in Illinois.....the last state in the union to allow any type of concealed carry, we have a "safe haven" parking lot rule. Basically it states that you can un-conceal your weapon to lock it into a trunk. While it will not prevent you from getting a visit from a LEO, it will likely not result in you going to jail for brandishing a weapon. Someone can still call it in for a man with a gun claim.

Since I work at a school, my options are very limited.

The OP was wanting to know if a 9MM or larrger pistol could fit in the glovebox and we have taken that in 100 different directions. Truly typical of us!!

What he said...

Kahr PM9 might work though.
Bingo!

My Kahr CM9 will go, and I think they're exactly the same size. At one time, they were the smallest 9mm available, so I'm guessing it'd be tough to find a larger caliber that'd go.

I wouldn't carry it there either because of that weight banging around in the box while moving, but for quick storage while you in a place where it's not allowed, it'd go. I'd be more concerned about someone seeing me put it in there and stealing it while I'm gone.

Firearms safety rule #1 is: All guns are always loaded.
The pre-rule to that rule is: If you're too stupid to safely operate a gun and it's accessories, don't go near one.
And the pre-pre-rule to that pre-rule is: If you think you're not too stupid... there's still a real good chance that you might be.

^^^^^Bwaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahaha...

Aw **** Fred. I've already hit my quota of likes! That post definately deserved one!
