Intended to be taken at face value. There is no particular history associated with Hanging Rock with regards to Vets day, but it was what was in my mind as I hiked thru the area. I was humbled b/c we live in a country where you can roam around freely and see such sights about anytime you choose. Such priveleges didn't come easy and are not to be taken for granted. That's all.

Thanks for sharing the pics.
There is also a Hanging Rock in South Central Ohio. However, there are not the views that are in WV as the forest is so thick you just can't get a vantage point. Great place for the KLR as it's surrounded by off road trails. You'll see dual sports galore down there.
