Looks like a few MR. Davidsons really aren't familiar with torque and corners yet - can't blame those 2 wheeled Titanics for stupid human failures...

mee too...
Ah, but then, you're prejudiced

.

Have to say I was impressed with the French po-po's riding skills. Not so keen on their pulling Les Rosbifs for speeding!

And, not very impressed with some of the skills (and judgements) of the riders in the video above.

The most entertaining ones are the (few) where it is obvious that the rider knows how to ride (a little) but clearly forgets that he is not riding a sport bike.

These guys are burning through the Twisties on a bike that supports a 2 degree lean angle without grinding half of itself away.

Basically akin to driving a raised jeep in a lemans race at speed.

And the (yo dawg I'm cool) recoveries are priceless.

I like the recoveries too. I was looking out my 2nd floor office window one day when I saw biker (brand not important) lock up the rear brake to avoid a car stopped for a left turn. The car had been sitting there for several seconds, and the rider should have seen him from a few hundred yards away. Then, when he did start trying to stop it should have been very easy with the front brake. But noooo, he locked the rear brake, got it all sideways, then high sided from a couple of car lengths back -- an obvious newby; we've all been there and all made silly mistakes (well, I have anyway ;) ). But then he jumped up and started posturing like he'd done something important. The reaction from the driver was priceless. He got out and stood between the bike and car looking back and forth as if to say "You had tons of room; why didn't you ... just ... stop?"

Saw the same scene that old guy saw....on my FJR following a guy on a Lowrider. I watched him lock the rear for a good 50 yards and slide into the back of a left turning car...he never got up-his cross is still alongside the highway...

There are some lessons in this. For instance, at 5:08 I bet the biker still insists "I didn't do anything wrong."

Man there are some real rookie mistakes in this video. Thanks for posting. Stupid and ignorant hurt no matter the brand you are riding.

Unfortunatly, it's possible on FJR too...

The difference is there were many HDs or clones in the 1st video, only the one event in the FJR video, albeit repeated several times.
Not that many of the "HD or cruiser forums" fraternity would notice that subtle dissimilarity.
