I'd hold off on this one. The details (and lack thereof) I've seen so far make it look pretty sketchy.

I bought a Haynes service manual for my XTZ750..

It is a very detailed service manual!!I am very happy with it!!I hope that and this is also very good..?!

Do I read this to mean that it doesn't cover the the AE (auto-clutch)?
It cover!Have a look at their website:

FJR1300 1298cc 01 - 05
FJR1300A
1298cc
03 - 13

FJR1300AS
1298cc
04 - 13
Someone is going to have to look. There is a FJR part numbering difference between North America and the rest of the world. My '04 part number says that it is a FJR1300AS yet I don't have an auto clutch. In fact the North American FJR1300AE (auto clutch) did not arrive until 2006.

There is a LOT for that manual to cover between '01 to '13 because of all the changes between the Gens.

It's also only listed on the UK website, so you may have to translate everything from English into American.

For example, a "spanner" is a "wrench".

I'm interested in how the Haynes manual approaches certain procedures, such as front fork removal, or rad replacement. The methods described in the FSM tend to be unnecessarily complicated, sometimes requiring superfluous removal/reinstall of components

Just order a copy off of E Bay.

Thanks for the post.

There are more choices out there than your link provides.

Just have to drill around to get the best price and shipping.
