What happened to LDRydr in the June 30 post? He was there in the first pic (with the Soltex's) but mysterously morphed into a blue bike without stripes or Soltex?? A phantom?

Hmmm, I've been called many things, but never that! But really, no mystery. I had a meeting I had to attend that Tuesday morning so I just met up for coffee and didn't go on the ride. As luck would have it I had rode that same stretch around Mt. St. Helens two days before on my way back from the Dam Tour picnic. Even more luck in that I then rode it again that Thursday on my way home from bagging yet another dam. SPOT track HERE.

Paul, it was nice to meet you and hang out a bit. Sorry I couldn't tag along on either of the rides, but maybe another time. Glad you made it home, and really glad you didn't leave any hard-earned money here for an Oregon performance award. Luck was with you my friend.
