I hoping one of you sharp electrical guys can help me out. I was seting out to install a new horn on my 06 and I just wanted to see how loud the horn was going to be when I accidentally crossed the hot wire & ground wire to the batter. Needless to say I blew that 15 amp fuse up pretty good. I replaced the fuse and the horn works fine, but my headlights went out also and are still out. I pulled all the other fuses and they are fine. What am I missing here?

Maybe you blew out the bulbs?

Are the headlights the only things which don't work? Hi/Lo beams both?
Yes, the headlights are the only thing that doesn't work. Both Hi/Lo beams are out! I used the factory wiring from the horn on the right side when I blew the fuse, if that makes a difference!

Dope out the sockets for the bulbs with a v/ohm meter to see if you are getting +12v to the bulbs. If so, then just replace the bulbs. If not, then start testing back up the line toward the battery until you find where it is that you are losing your +12v to the headlight sockets.
