My wife and I have Brake Away throttle locks. We do love the way they work and do not want to replace them.

However, we cannot use any of the conventional hand warmers...that I know of. Are there any suggestions that we might be able to use on the throttle side that would shorten the distance inboard of the wiring?

Thought about looking into snowmobile types, but not sure if that would interact unfavorably with the electircs on the FJR.

It was 20 degrees Sunday morning and the ride was great, but the hands did suffer. Couldn't find any place to stuff the hands to warm them like we used to do years ago on the Harleys.

Scratch that! Opens me up to too many wise cracks!

Oooops!

I have the ones from Aero-stich and they work pretty good. I've used them on my Duc. They are either on or off, no adjustments and they do get hot. I think I paid $35 . Not a huge investment for something I won't use too often but have them when I need them.

You may have to switch to Throttlemiester throttle lock if you want to use heated grips. This porblem is the wire gets in the way with the type of throttle lock that grips the throttle tube, like the Breakaway and Vista models. I looked into this too and that's what I found.

Let me know if you find out anything else.
