Help! 2 Bros Bolt Stripped

I put on a set of 2 bros slip ons today. I went to remove the rear cover to install one of the P1X tips and one of the torx screw heads stripped out! It is totally stripped out. Any ideas? Is there a shop I could take it to that might be able to get it out? Do I dare try to use a drill bit and drill it out. I called 2 bros and they said send them one of the cans and they will get it out. Problem with that is I would be without my bike for 2-3 weeks! Color me FRUSTRATED!!!

Seriously, if you let them do it, that takes care of all the risk, correct? However, who pays to ship it? Here's a thought: just ride it without the cans and you won't be frustrated any more. Your neighbors however, will.

Anybody out there with a set of stock cans you can loan this guy for a couple weeks???

Can you get a pair of vice grips on the edge?

If not, you can drill the head off, or weld a nut on the end.

It worked! It worked! I started with a small drill bit and worked my way up. I thought I would be able to break the head off the screw and go from there, but after I drilled out the center, I grabbed it with a pair of needle nose and the screw came loose. Thank God. The last thing I wanted to do was ship the pipe back to 2 Bros. I have to buy a new screw but who cares. The pipes sound awesome BTW!! Too loud without the inserts.
