Did he offer to fix it? If I dropped someones bike I would get a quote and have it fixed. No, would not be an option. Family or no family it is the right thing to do.
+1

And if you have a Zx14 why didn't you go with him to set the pace? Many a Cruiser riders have wadded up FJR's on their first 'test' ride.

Rich from KY? Care to chime in here? :)

Prior to my FJR I had an M50. Fun bike to ride, but much different than the FJR - you know, like night and day! When I rode my FJR home, I was very cautious and heeded all the warnings from the seller. Two totally different bikes, two totally different experiences. Glad to hear it wasn't any worse though and things ended up ok between you two.

Good onya man ! I'd be a little sheepish too if I just dropped ANYBODIES bike, much less family. My 24 y.o. son was just down from Amarillo and wanted to take Zig for a ride..he has his own VTX 1300 and we been ridin buds for waay over 10 years...anyway he returns in 2 minutes and tells me its too top heavy for this very windy day and parks it...I was much much dumber at his age..probably now too !!

Blessings,

Bobby

You should stab him. My coworker just indicated that a stabbing is perfectly acceptable in this situation.
hhhhhhhhhh...........hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh............hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.........CAN'T BREATHE!!!..........hhhhhhhhhh............hhhhhhhhhhh

And it ain't even Friday!!

OK, after laughing at this thread and the support that my stabbing comment got, I couldn't help but laugh when I opened my new Aerostitch catalog this morning and found this little gem...

"If you touch my bike, I will cut you".
